Annual Building and Property Summit
We are connectors. We don’t want to just operate in the property business… we want to transform it. And through our Annual Building and Property Summit we bring industry leaders together to do just that. In 2019, we welcomed more than 500 attendees for an event unlike any other. And now we’re gearing up for the 2021 event on 3rd September.
With our most recent Guest of Honour, Harry Triguboff, and previous guest speakers including Yellow Brick Road CEO Mark Bouris; Crown Group Head of Sales and Marketing Julian Sedgwick; and small business and finance expert David Koch, it’s no wonder that attendees at our summit walked away feeling inspired.
The audience was engaged with a relaxed and informative session provoking questions and discussion around the current and forecasted state of construction, property and investments in the Australian market.
A VIP Experience
For our VIP attendees, there was the chance to mingle with legends of Australian sports such as Mike Whitney, Terry Lamb, Steve Mortimer and Wendell Sailor and television and radio celebrities such as John Mangos and Anthony Maroon.
Lefand-sponsored top fuel dragster Mark Mariani came along to the event giving attendees an opportunity to chat with his team and have their photos taken with the car.
For us, an event like this is about the connections we can facilitate by bringing hundreds of industry professionals together. It is about bridging the gap between developers, strata and managing agents, owner-occupiers and service contractors to connect them with prominent property influencers and cultivate long-term partnerships.
So, throughout the day we provided ample opportunities to network and build business relationships in a relaxed environment. From that event there were partnerships formed and new business created. That’s a success, in our book!
The Lefand Family
When we talk about family at Lefand, we mean it.
And part of our Lefand family are the community groups we support.
At the summit we held a silent auction with all profits going to Camp Quality and the Biaggio Signorelli Foundation.
These are charities we are proud to be associated with, raising their profiles further across the industry through this event.
We would like to recognise and thank our Corporate Partner, UDIA NSW, and all of our past and present sponsors, who helped to make the summit such a great success.
We look forward to working with you again on our future summits and invite any interested sponsors to come on board.
Looking to the future
What an unprecedented past 12 months we’ve seen but the health and safety of our staff, guests and associates have always been our main priority, which meant the 2020 Annual Building and Property Summit could not proceed. However in true Lefand style, we pushed on in search of the next Icons of Property inductee and crowned Lang Walker AO of Walker Corporation, as our 2021 recipient.
We’re thrilled to have locked in 3rd September 2021 for the next Annual Building and Property Summit so are now in search of the next ‘Harry Triguboff’ or ‘Lang Walker’, to be inducted into the Icons of Property Hall of Fame. This will be a distinguished individual who has made a significant impact within industry, as well as making a meaningful difference to the people in our community.
Nominations are now open via www.lefand.com.au/nominations where you’ll also find more information. We’re finalising our sponsorship packages and the amount of inquiries so far have been amazing! If you’re keen to get involved, don’t hesitate to contact firstname.lastname@example.org and a sponsorship brochure won’t be far away.
